Mr. Frank Jernigan is a sound designer and audio engineer born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is currently enrolled at University of Cincinnati at the College-Conservatory of Music. He is currently working on getting his BFA in Sound Design and Technology (expected spring 24). He has previously graduated from Landstown High School Governor's STEM Academy with an advanced diploma.
Outside of continuing his education most of his experience has been in over 50 musical productions, contributing as sound designer, production sound engineer, and audio technician 1 & 2. He has 6 years of professional audio technician experience at various venues in Virginia and Ohio. Currently freelancing and working in many different capacities within the entertainment industry,

He started learning about sound design for musical theater at the young age of 12. Instantly falling in love with it, He soon began to build his knowledge and connections. At the age of 15 he started his own sound company geared towards closing the gap between the touring professional world and the local artist. Helping local musicians improve their sound image while designing and renting to local venues. From there he started working at Zeiders American Dream Theater in 2018 then onto many other companies, holding many different positions and understanding more of the professional world.
